When one thinks of Texas Tech University, immediately thoughts of tradition and spirit come to mind. Many ask about the group who upholds and encourages the furtherment of these traditions. The Saddle Tramps have been TTU’s premier spirit organization since 1936 when Arch Lamb created the organization to help encourage the student body to become more spirited. Since the founding of the organization, Saddle Tramps has been part of numerous campus traditions and continues to be the upholders of TTU tradition and spirit.
